    Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent with physics,
    chemistry, biology or biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a
    recognized board are eligible for NEET.
    For General category candidates to appear for NEET, they must have
    scored 50% or more in Class 12. However, reserved category candidates
    are exempted from the minimum percentage requirement.
    Students taking their class 12 board or equivalent exams this year, are also
    eligible to apply for NEET-UG.

    There is no need to be concerned if the student is unable to
    obtain a place at a medical college. He/she can choose from a
    variety of other equally interesting and hard courses, such as
    Pharmacy, Nutrition, Clinical Research, Nursing, and so on.

    Students who were assigned a seat in the first round can
    complete the application and choose to upgrade in the
    second round. They can also give up their position and move
    on to the next round.
